Encore: Legacy giving

Since its establishment in 1984, YCAT has been committed to building sustainable futures for young artists. Our generous supporters have enabled YCAT to build a powerful and lasting legacy within classical music, not least through our past beneficiaries including Ian Bostridge, Alison Balsom, James Baillieu and the Belcea Quartet.

Leaving YCAT a gift in your will, whatever the size, is one of the most valuable ways to support the development of young artists, because it can help us plan for the future. Furthermore, leaving a gift to a charity in your will can reduce the tax paid by your estate.

Your gift will make a real difference in:

Identifying, nurturing and promoting young artists at a pivotal stage

Developing future audiences for these artists as their careers evolve

Contributing to the growth of YCAT Sounding Board, our open-access career development programme for emerging musicians

We are extremely grateful to the Donors who have already remembered YCAT through Encore. If you would like to discuss the options available, please contact Alasdair Tait (Chief Executive): at@ycat.co.uk or 020 7379 8477.
