On Friday 21st May 2010 three artists were selected for representation by YCAT at the Public Final Auditions held at Wigmore Hall:
James Baillieu / piano (chamber/accomp)
Kathryn Rudge / mezzo-soprano
Rhodes Piano Trio
A total of eight finalists were heard, chosen from 120 applicants in the preliminary rounds. The jury consisted of Robert Rattray (Chief executive, Askonas Holt), Heather Duncan (Head of Concerts and Programming, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra), Jonathan Reekie (Chief executive, Aldeburgh Music), Cathy Graham (Head of Music, British Council) Sir Brian McMaster (former director, Edinburgh Festival) and Alasdair Tait (Chief Executive, YCAT).
