Alexander Ullman joins CAMI Music

We are delighted to announce that, following three and a half years with YCAT, pianist Alexander Ullman has been signed by CAMI Music for commercial management.

Praised for his subtle interpretations and refined technical mastery, Alexander Ullman first came to in international attention in 2011, when he won the International Liszt Competition in Budapest. In 2017, he won the International Liszt Competition in Utrecht.

Alexander has made an impact on audiences and critics worldwide through his deep understanding of the scores he interprets, his elegant touch and crystalline phrasing.

He has appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Oxford Philharmonic, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Budapest Radio Orchestra and the New Jersey, Fort Worth and Montreal symphonies, with conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Giancarlo Guerrero and Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

He has performed at the Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), Kennedy Center (Washington DC), Wigmore and Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Gewandhaus Leipzig, Louisiana Museum (Denmark), Shanghai Oriental Arts Center and the NCPA (Beijing), and been featured on BBC Radio 3, France Musique and MDR Klassik. Chamber music highlights include performances at Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) and La Jolla Summerfest (California) with Barnabas Kelemen, Aleksey Semenenko, Michael Petrov, the Dover Quartet and others.

Future engagements include concerts with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Korean Symphony Orchestra and Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, and recitals in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Slovenia, Colombia, Japan and China. In 2018 he records his solo first album, of Russian ballet music.

Born in 1991, Alexander studied at the Purcell School, the Curtis Institute and the Royal College of Music, completing his Artist Diploma as the Benjamin Britten Piano Fellow in 2017.
