The Atenea Quartet opens this 40th Anniversary season of YCAT Wigmore Lunchtime Concerts as part of a UK-wide tour. YCAT Artist, and recipient of numerous prizes at international competitions, the quartet frequently performs across Europe, including in prestigious festivals, such as the Lucerne Festival, Barcelona String Quartet Biennale and Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.

The first YCAT Composer Fellow, in memory in Hans Keller and supported by the Cosman Keller Art and Music Trust, is Electra Perivolaris, a composer and pianist from Scotland whose music draws inspiration from her mixed British and Greek heritage. Her talent has been lauded by BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 3, positioning her as a rising star in the classical music landscape.
