Classic FM presenters will be on stage to host this special concert with musical highlights including Ralph Vaughan Williams’s majestic The Lark Ascending performed by the Brazilian rising star of the violin, Nathan Amaral, and Jeneba Kanneh-Mason playing the dramatic first movement of Sergei Rachmaninov’s famous Piano Concerto No.2. The exciting young cellist Sterling Elliott will perform the opening of Elgar’s Cello Concerto and other star soloists will include Royal Harpist Alis Huws and winner of Channel 4’s The Piano, Brad Kella. There will also be a world premiere performance of a new piece composed by Debbie Wiseman, written and narrated by Alan Titchmarsh.

This very special concert, celebrating some of the most famous classical music composed within our shores, is performed by the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra – an official partner of Classic FM – and conducted by Ben Palmer. Dramatic lights and fireworks and the mighty Royal Albert Hall Organ will accompany the musicians in a stunning finale.
