YCAT launches a new partnership with London Music Masters

21st May 2019

Young Classical Artists Trust and London Music Masters (LMM) are excited to launch a new partnership which will support the shared aims of education, diversity and inclusion within classical music.

London Music Masters – Learning Programme

Building upon LMM’s existing work with young learners, we will bring the exceptional talent of YCAT artists into the heart of this structured learning programme. The exceptional talent of YCAT artists will inspire and motivate children at a critical time in their first contacts with classical music. This will also afford the opportunity for YCAT artists to develop an authentic educational approach to communicating their art, fostering individual responsibility as cultural advocates whilst they build their professional performing career.

Young Classical Artists Trust – Robey Artist

The Robey Artist will represent exceptional performers from backgrounds currently under-represented in classical music. Through recommendation and selection, we will identify artists from diverse backgrounds who exhibit the potential for a solo performing career. YCAT will deliver focused guidance, management and promotion over three years, using its unique position within the industry to develop a strong career foundation for the artists.

Working within the developmental aims of the LMM Awards, the Robey Artist will undertake an ambassadorial role within the LMM Learning Programme, working closely with the young learners to becoming an inspirational classical role model.

Inaugural Robey Artist – Randall Goosby

We are delighted to introduce the first Robey Artist – American violinist, Randall Goosby. Having already achieved great success through the Sphinx Organisation, a close partner of LMM, Randall was recently selected onto the roster of YCAT’s sister organisation in New York: Young Concert Artist Inc. Currently finishing his studies at Juilliard School where he has been working closely with Itzhak Perlman and Donald Weilerstein, Randall is at the beginning of an exciting journey to becoming an internationally recognised artist and ambassador for future generations.
